These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Durus Roofing website and any services you request or receive from us. By using our site or engaging Durus for an inspection, quote, or project, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services. All inspections, quotes, and estimates Durus provides are based on the information available at the time of the visit. Conditions discovered during the work (rotted decking, hidden damage, code requirements, etc.) may change the scope and cost; we will discuss any change in writing before proceeding. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Scheduling is subject to weather, material availability, and crew capacity. A signed proposal or work order is required before we begin any project, and a deposit may be required depending on scope. [LEGAL: counsel review required]
Invoices are due on the schedule listed in your signed proposal. Late payments may accrue interest at the maximum rate allowed by California law. Cancellations made before work begins are typically refundable minus any costs already incurred (permits, custom-ordered materials, etc.); cancellations after work has started are billed for labor and materials delivered through the cancellation date. Durus stands behind every roof we install with a written workmanship warranty, detailed in your project paperwork. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through separately. Warranties do not cover damage caused by storms outside normal weather, modifications by other contractors, or lack of routine maintenance. [LEGAL: counsel review required]
To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Durus's total liability for any claim arising from our services or this website is limited to the amount you paid Durus for the specific project at issue. Durus is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or property value, except where such limitation is not permitted by law. We carry full general liability and workers' compensation coverage and are happy to provide certificates of insurance on request.
